• Hillcrest Hospital South is a full‑service 180‑bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state‑of‑the‑art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.
• Perform routine and diagnostic mammography exams while adhering to all MQSA and ACR regulations.
• Perform quality control functions related to mammography and DEXA.
• Perform a variety of tasks involving operating mammography/radiographic equipment and other devices as necessary.
• Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.
• Maintain organized patient records.
• Assist radiologists and other health‑care practitioners with invasive procedures.

• Graduate of an accredited two‑year Radiologic Technology program in a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Complete a 40‑hour specialized Mammography course and be eligible for the Mammography registry.
• Advanced certification in Mammography required within one year of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
