Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Changes of ownership based on interpretation of agreements, division order title opinions, assignments, deeds and other documents of conveyance
- Verify acreage and legal descriptions
- Oral/written communication with owners
- Determine title curative needed to implement ownership changes
- Analyze and interpret title curative, estate and trust documents
- Resolve complex/difficult ownership change issues
- Research and resolve owner inquiries
- Share expertise and assist other techs to analyze title issues
- Research and Special projects as assigned
- Working knowledge of various states
The qualified candidate must possess the following skills/experience:
- Knowledge of Joint Operating Agreements, State probate and descent and distribution laws
- Proficient in math (e.g. fractional and decimal calculations)
- Proficient in MS Word for Windows
- Working knowledge of Excel
