FINANCE INTERN

Assist in supporting the Finance department with accounting and financial tasks related to construction projects, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

In this role you will ...

Responsibilities
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and preparation of journal entries.
  • Support accounts payable processes, including invoice review and routing.
  • Assist in researching and resolving invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.
  • Participate in organizing and maintaining financial records, including scanning and indexing documents into company systems.
  • Provide support for subcontractor invoice processing and voucher assembly.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
  • Assist with special projects and other finance-related tasks as directed by the Finance Manager.
Ideal Candidate

As the ideal candidate you ...

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in finance or accounting is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Internet research.
