Consumer Lending Loan Processor – located in Jenks, OK:

• This processor will have customer service, organization, and great communication skills. Will handle data entry and coordinate follow-ups between operations and underwriting.
• Prefer 2 yrs of consumer lending exp (home improvement financing exp a plus). However, we will consider candidates who are eager to put the above-mentioned already sharpened skills to work in a new industry!
• Meridian Link is a nice-to-have but open to exp with any LOS system.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for supporting the end to end loan process by maintaining complete and accurate loan files from application through funding. This role serves as a key operational and customer communication liaison, working closely with underwriters, account managers, leadership, and homeowners to ensure all required documentation, signatures, and information are obtained. The position also coordinates borrower approval and sign off for contractor disbursements, helping facilitate timely and accurate payments while supporting multiple functions across loan operations, customer service, and internal coordination.

Consumer Lending Loan Processor ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):

• Maintains loan files from application through funding, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
• Works closely with underwriters, account managers, and leadership to support daily loan operations.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for homeowners to collect missing information or required signatures.
• Coordinates borrower approval and sign off on disbursements to ensure timely payment to contractors.
• Supports multiple functions across operations, customer communication, and internal coordination.
• Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.
• Performs related responsibilities as required or assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Thorough knowledge in Consumer Lending specifically in Home Improvement Lending policies, procedures, and practices.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for engaging clients.
• Ability to develop relationships.

Equivalent Education/Experience

• High school Diploma required or equivalent work experience.
• 2-4 years of Consumer Lending loan processing experience required, ideally within home improvement financing.
• Familiarity with Meridian Link or similar systems is preferred.
