We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales & Use Tax Analyst to join our Accounting team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely Sales and Use Tax calculations, filings, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare Sales and Use Tax calculations and analyses to ensure accurate and timely tax filings
Organize and maintain Sales & Use Tax records and documentation
Manage Sales & Use Tax audits and research issues identified during audit processes
Resolve tax assessments and notices through written and verbal communication with state and local tax authorities
Research Sales & Use Tax issues and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders
Initiate timely electronic tax filings and payments
Maintain and manage monthly tax calendars and compliance deadlines
Apply professional judgment to resolve routine tax matters
Support additional tax-related projects and duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
3–5 years of multistate Sales and Use Tax experience (preferred)
Experience with tax and reporting systems such as SAP, BW, Vertex, Accelerator Tools, and Vertex Returns
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Ability to clearly explain tax rules and company tax positions to non-finance partners
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates initiative and applies business knowledge to achieve goals
Identifies process improvement opportunities and follows through on implementation
Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
Adaptable, open to change, and receptive to new ideas and approaches
Collaborative and supportive accounting team
