Under the direction of the Branch and/or Production Manager, markets and promotes Prime Lending products and services to its client base of realtors, builders, bank officers, and potential and past clients. Performs office or non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations of Prime Lending and its customers.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluates Prime Lending’s and other loan products and services to determine which financial products best meet the customer’s needs and financial circumstances.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with realtors, bank officers, builders, and new home sales representatives to develop and retain existing business, including visiting subdivisions as required.
  • Markets and promotes Prime Lending’s financial products.
  • Meets the Company’s minimum production standards in funded units/volume each month by taking complete and accurate loan applications using Prime Lending’s product set.
  • Monitors overall customer interaction and interfaces with all parties involved on each loan from application to closing, including counseling and pre-qualifying potential home buyers.
  • Collects and analyzes information regarding income, assets, investments, or debts.
  • Advises customers on the advantages and disadvantages of different loan products.
  • Services existing customers and obtains necessary support documents, fees, and lock-in information.
  • Oversees the loan process by monitoring loan status and ensuring conformity with terms.
  • Communicates loan status to all interested parties and obtains documentation after closing.
  • Presents loan terms and conditions to customers.
  • Stays updated on trends in the local real estate market, regulatory changes, and industry developments.
  • Maintains a professional image and adheres to company policies and procedures.
  • May supervise other loan officers, assistants, or processors.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent and appropriate state licenses.
    • Valid driver’s license and current automobile liability insurance.
    • Minimum of 12 months loan originator experience.
    • Ability to interact with regional & corporate departments, realtors, sales agents, builders, and appraisers.
    • Strong judgment, decision-making, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to process large data volumes efficiently using appropriate software.
    • Active community involvement and participation in relevant organizations.
    • Commitment to expanding industry knowledge and organizational issues.
