Manager, Credit

Manager, Credit Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Credit & Collections Manager.  This position will be responsible for protecting the assets of the company by making sound credit decisions while providing the highest level of service to our customers and sales staff.  This is ensured through properly managing the processes of credit approval, customer limits, invoicing, cash applications, job/project approvals, disputes, collection calls and reporting.

What you will be doing:
* Oversee daily responsibilities of the AR department, including but not limited to invoicing, cash application, credit application processing, collection calls and disputes.
* Approve customer credit applications.
* Review accounts for credit limit increases.
* Collection Calls.
* Approve or deny orders on credit hold for non-payment.
* Approve job/project accounts.
* Update and process all documents pertaining to the job/project files including invoicing, collection calls, supplier waivers, preliminary notices, bond claims and lawsuits.
* Maintain all Collection Agency Accounts.
* Resolution of Customer and Sales Staff disputes or questions.
* Discuss Collection Results and Issues with Management.
* Interact with Sales and designated paralegal resource on contract review and acceptance for project related jobs.
* Represent Finance concerns in relation to purchase order and contract terms and conditions.

The skills and experience you need:

* Education:

** Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Experience:

** 5+ years credit/collections management
* 5+ years collection calling experience
* Other:
** Experience in Approving Credit Applications
* Knowledge in Mechanic’s Lien, Bond Claims and Supplier Waivers
* Computer Knowledge, preferably JDE and Excel
* Confidence in Decision Making with a Strong Attention to Detail
* Self-starter with High Work Ethics
* Experience Dealing with Customers/Employees/Multiple Departments This role is located in Tulsa, OK.
