Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Review, prioritize and complete projects involving construction of aerial and underground fiber projects
- Participate in the development, review and documentation of the enterprise fiber optic standards involving fiber optic cable, construction, testing and acceptance.
- Engineer and design fiber routes including railroad, river and highway crossings including working with Right of Way team for proper permits
- Work with Design and Documentation team to create construction, splicing and as-built drawings
- Review, document and promote fiber construction and installation standards
- Follow Construction team processes and standards
- Responsible for the consistency of data in enterprise geodatabases and GIS data conversion
- Coordinate updates of features and attributes in enterprise geodatabases
- Use editing techniques to develop, manipulate, and edit vector and raster data sets
- Revise maps and map products using GIS cartographic concepts, principles, and processes
- Create and modify geographic data from a variety of sources, such as Internet repositories, paper documents and hand drawn maps, Microsoft Excel files, text files, database tables, Google Earth files, CAD files, etc.
- Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job under immediate supervision
- Regular interaction with Project Manager and Sr Engineer
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and initiative
This is a Permanent position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $36.06/hr.
