Position SummaryThe Senior Network Engineer will maintain and support all Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) while helping architect new solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve security and scalability. This role plays a key part in introducing new technologies and ensuring the network environment remains aligned with industry standards.
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN and WAN environments, including routers and switches
- Design, implement, and maintain firewalls, including remote access solutions
- Create and maintain network architecture documentation, standards, and procedures
- Design, implement, and maintain wireless environments
- Design, implement, and maintain fiber channel environments for storage
- Coordinate wiring changes such as line drops and terminations with plant maintenance or site leadership
- Manage and maintain WAN circuits through service providers
- Design, implement, and maintain internet connectivity solutions
- Design, implement, and maintain web filtering solutions
- Partner with security teams to coordinate and maintain network security
- Monitor and maintain network and system performance metrics and monitoring tools
- Maintain logs of network outages and perform root cause analysis
- Assist with additional IT projects and initiatives as needed
- Cisco and Juniper switching and routing
- SD-WAN technologies, preferably Aruba SD-WAN
- HPE Clear Pass for Network Access Control (NAC) is a plus

Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or similar are a plus
- Experience with multi-site network design and architecture
- Enterprise-level wireless and network security experience
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
