** Responsibilities/Expectations:
*** Manages the recruitment, training, and development of highly skilled project controls professionals to build and sustain team capability
* Develops and maintains effective working relationships with key leaders and internal stakeholders to understand business drivers and priorities and ensure team activities are aligned with organizational needs
* Oversees the activities of team members to ensure strong performance, accountability, and timely resolution of critical issues
* Implements consistent work processes, tools, and procedures to increase project execution efficiency and effectiveness across the area in support of enterprise objectives
* Establishes and maintains effective project controls deliverables to ensure projects stay on track while providing accurate, timely status reports and forecasts
* Other duties as assigned
** Education/Years of

Experience:

**
* Required:

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business related field from an accredited institution and seven (7) years of experience in project controls, engineering, operations, project management and/or business development
* Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, technical, or business field from an accredited institution and ten (10) years of industry experience in project controls/project management and leadership experience
** Other Requirements:
*** Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
* Proven experience managing teams, with formal and/or informal leadership expertise
* Preferred:
Familiar with risk evaluation procedures and applications (Monte Carlo simulations and critical path planning) as well as project financials and capital cost management strategies
* Preferred:
Proficient in Project Life Cycle (Stage-gate, Agile, Waterfall and/or Hybrid)
* Preferred:

Experience with Primavera, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software
* Preferred: PMP (Project Management Professional) or AACE (Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering) certifications
* Up to 20% travel##
