Responsibilities

As Trenchless Engineer, you will apply engineering knowledge and experience to solve well-defined problems or perform analyses with guidance from senior engineers. You will:

  • Prepare or assist in performing calculations and supplemental analyses associated with trenchless construction projects
  • Create or assist in the creation of drawing plans in AutoCAD to support trenchless design and construction
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members, verbally or in writing
  • Collaborate with others and review work performed by larger project teams
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering or a related engineering field from an ABET-accredited program
  • 1 year of engineering experience
  • Engineer Intern / Engineer-In-Training certification or ability to readily attain EI/EIT certification
  • Experience using AutoCAD
  • Basic understanding of civil design and drawings
  • Strong ability for critical thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to accommodate occasional travel for meetings, site visits, and short-term construction assignments
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
  • Proficiency in German is beneficial, but not required
