- Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Develop and implement complex engineering plans, designs, and projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prepare proposals, and participate in client presentations.
- Apply principles of hydrology and hydraulics to solve water‑related issues.
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydro
CAD, Storm
CAD, Water
CAD, SSA, and HEC‑RAS for designing and analyzing civil engineering projects. - Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
- Perform floodplain management tasks and mitigate flood risks.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience with a focus on water resources.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydro
CAD, Storm
CAD, Water
CAD, SSA, and HEC‑RAS. - Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
