Perform, approve, and review R&D testing of HVAC products. Support and direct Engineering Technicians during testing in psychometric test chambers. Take on small projects to support the R&D Testing Laboratory.

• Coordinates with Project Engineers and Lab Technicians to determine correct course of action for testing.
• Provides complete bill of materials by defining when, where, and why parts are utilized during testing and rework.
• Reviews test plans to ensure designs are met.
• Ensures equipment and parts for testing and rework are available to maintain the testing schedule.
• Works with the Lab Technicians to ensure that test units are complete and ready to test as needed.
• Coordinates testing of HVAC equipment in various test setups and psychrometric chambers.
• Works with Lab Operations to ensure that the test chamber and equipment are functioning properly and are in calibration.
• Ensures testing is performed to the proper standards.
• Ensures that data produced is valid for the evaluation of the tested product or component.
• Runs small, short‑term projects independently.
• Handles multiple tasks simultaneously under the guidance of more experienced Engineers and/or Management.
• Analyzes test data to determine the product meets defined requirements DOE, ASHRAE, ASME, ISO, ASHARAE, and other standards.

Four‑year ABET accredited degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree in Applied Sciences.

Minimum of 1–2 years in the HVAC industry or equivalent experience in a similar industry.

• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
• Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
