Director of Engineering - Power Delivery

As Director of Engineering, you will build the engineering organization, oversee project design, optimize design strategies, and ensure the delivery of high‑performance, scalable, and cost‑effective solutions in power delivery construction.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the development of the strategic business development plan and yearly business strategy.
- Develop and implement engineering best practices and standard processes in accordance with industry standards and business goals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with project management, estimating, procurement, and business development teams to align engineering efforts with strategic business goals.
- Provide estimates of the activities, schedule, and resources required to complete a project.
- Provide technical advice, risk assessment, and problem resolution within the area of functional responsibility.
- Manage the day‑to‑day operational activities of the department.
- Actively participate in trade and technical associations.
- Ensure successful execution of all projects.
- BS in Engineering or related discipline.
- Deep understanding of transmission, distribution, substations, and power systems.
- 12+ years of engineering design experience with at least 8 years in power delivery.
- Ability to balance technical excellence, cost efficiency, and project deadlines.
- Experience working with utilities in power delivery.
- Exposure to the renewable energy market is preferred.
- PE preferred.
