This role is responsible to the assigned manager for performing entry‑level engineering work activities and projects requiring the application of engineering knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient, and economical accomplishment of assigned objectives.

AEP’s Station Engineering team is looking for a Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering Associate to join our team in Tulsa, OK. • Knowledge and experience in applying theory to solve well‑defined problems or provide analysis, with guidance from higher‑level engineers.
• Assists higher‑level engineers in handling well‑defined portions of more complex problems and analyses.
• Fundamental understanding of relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
• Familiarity with pertinent equipment, materials, systems, and business processes.

• Coordinates work activities of others to resolve routine engineering tasks.
• Works within established policies and procedures; generally monitored by higher‑level employees.
• Performs work activities as assigned and coached by higher‑level employees.

• Provides input to routine project planning documents related to scheduling using techniques such as CPM, PERT, and flow charts.

This is an entry‑level position for new graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET.*
