• Assists in the development of 2D drafting/design tools to improve efficiency within the Engineering department.
• Supports conceptual and preliminary models/drawings to be used for development of product.
• Collaborates closely with Engineering department and other teams to understand project requirements.
• Optimizes processes to enhance performance, productivity, and user experience.
• Maintains existing engineering records and designs.
• Conducts thorough testing and debugging of automation scripts and tools to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Coordinates with other engineers, management, and the creative departments to determine design solutions.
• Aids in communication with the Design/Drafting teams to maintain standards.
• Travels, when necessary, for product development at other AAON plants.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Four‑year degree in Computer Science (or similar field) or four years of industry experience in a similar technical field.
• Experience using Python, VBA, C# or other programming languages.
• Experience using computer‑aided design such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, or Solid Edge is a plus.
• Proficiency in using a distributed version control system, particularly Git, in a team setting.
