Job DescriptionOlsson’s Facility Engineering and Design Team is recognized for delivering innovative solutions on technically complex, large-scale projects across diverse industries including commercial developments, healthcare facilities, laboratories, educational institutions, data centers, and military installations. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be a technical leader and strategic partner, driving excellence in design and execution for projects that shape communities and industries. This role is ideal for seasoned professionals who combine deep technical expertise with leadership and mentoring skills.
What You’ll Do- Lead complex projects and serve as the primary engineer on large, multidisciplinary projects with advanced technical requirements.
- Set quality standards and develop rigorous QA/QC processes to ensure flawless deliverables.
- Mentor and elevate team members by providing technical guidance and training.
- Provide strategic oversight, organize technical resources, review contracts, and guide design strategies to meet project goals.
- Collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
- Champion best practices for project execution, ensuring timelines and budgets are met without compromising quality.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience with proven success on complex building systems and multi-industry projects.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Expertise in HVAC design for vertical infrastructure (healthcare, labs, mission‑critical facilities).
