CAD Technician

Location:
Tulsa
Salary: $41,600-$52,000 (based on experience)

Responsible for preparation of technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects such as highways, bridges, drainage projects, and water or sewage systems.

• Drafts markups, basic changes, and revisions using Auto Cad/Civil 3D design software according to specifications in the CAD manual.
• Understands and incorporates standards from customers.
• Works closely with engineers, project managers and other CAD technicians to ensure coordination of design effort.
• Completes drawing/project responsibilities within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Reviews drawings for completeness and accuracy as defined in the CAD manual.
• Organize and maintain all versions of drawings and specifications as defined in the CAD training manual.
• Routinely attend CAD training courses offered by the organization.
• Acquires and applies an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
• All other duties as assigned.

Associates degree in Design/Drafting Technology and/or the equivalent of 1-3 years of industry experience.

• Proficient in Auto Cad and/or Microstation.
• Civil 3D experience is a plus.
• Intermediate level math proficiency with computations, geometry and trigonometry.
• Beginner level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication skills (written and oral).
• Experience in a civil engineering environment preferred.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to the overall team
• Excellent interpersonal skills a must.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize work to meet established deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environment.
