Tulsa Public Schools’ existing salary schedules provide career increment adjustments based on education/experience and/or years of creditable service. For more information about the salary for this specific position please review the Salary Schedule for the corresponding Salary Grade (listed above).
Position SummaryTo assist a certified teacher in educating children and provide instruction and assistance to children in learning.
Minimum QualificationsEducation:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 48 hours of approved college credit, an associate degree from an accredited school or successful completion of a district approved highly qualified test
- Previous work experience in early childhood and/or elementary school preferred
- Possess or ability to obtain a Tier I certification through Oklahoma Department of Education (one-time payment of $12 to be paid to the state by candidate/employee)
- Proficient or willing to learn Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
