The School of Liberal Arts is seeking an Assistant Professor for Psychology to begin Fall 2026. The Assistant Professor has the primary responsibility of instruction in the classroom for students enrolled in Psychology courses, and depending on qualifications, courses in Human Services/Pre-Social Work, as well as ensuring the success and retention of students while maintaining high academic standards. • Master's or doctoral degree with 24 hours of graduate work in Psychology and/or Social Work required.
• Ability to teach Introduction to Psychology course.
• Philosophy compatible with that of a comprehensive urban community college.

• Masters or Ph.D. in Psychology or Social Work.
• Prior teaching experience at the community college or university level.
• Prior professional experience in social service agencies.
