We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for the Peer Coach/Mentor work study position. This role involves serving as study leaders, sharing effective learning and study strategies with assigned students, and helping to clarify and reinforce course content, assignments, and material, with a commitment of up to 20 hours per week. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills, proficiency in office software, and a passion for supporting fellow students.

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Must be in good academic standing and have no disciplinary actions on record.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Genuine interest in helping other students succeed academically, socially, and personally.
  • Ability to balance academic responsibilities with the time commitment required for mentoring.
  • Familiarity with college resources, services, and programs available to students.
  • High level of professionalism, including punctuality, responsibility, and ethical behavior.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills or potential; experience in student organizations, volunteer work, or other leadership roles considered a plus.
  • Please highlight any experience you may have had working lotto with student populations.
  • Are you willing and able to travel between TCC campuses on a weekly basis if needed?
  • What experience do you have advocating for low‑income, first‑generation
