Salary Grade: Hourly 08 | H-8

The Grounds Journeyperson performs a variety of tasks necessary to maintain the grounds and athletic fields for Tulsa Public Schools. This position will be required to complete all assigned work orders in a timely manner.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Two (2) years of grounds related work experience
• Previous experience using common hand tools

• Possess or ability to obtain a valid Oklahoma driver’s license
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Office Suite or willing to learn

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Must be able to occasionally lift more than 50 lbs. with assistance
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, or reach for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
