Physician Assistant - Orthopaedics

Overview

Tulsa Bone and Joint Associates is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to work alongside one of our Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeons.

• Provide care to patients in our office clinic.
• Conduct comprehensive and problem-focused history and physical examinations in clinic practice.
• Assist in surgical procedures, including performing deep and superficial tissue closures, and undertake any other tasks delegated by the surgeon.
• Order and interpret laboratory and radiological results for patients.
• Develop treatment plans and provide education for orthopedic patients within the scope of practice.
• Use clinical judgment to identify issues requiring consultation or referral to the supervising physician.
• Establish a friendly rapport with patients and their families.
• Document patient care and compliance while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct hospital rounds and make consultations as needed.
• Responsibilities will include patient care in the office clinic and/or at the hospital/surgery center.

• Active Oklahoma Physician Assistant License.
• Preferred experience in orthopedic care or surgical settings, although not required.

This position operates Monday through Friday, with some weekend availability.

Salary will be based on experience.
