Position: Clinical Assistant/ Associate Professor - OMM

Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor - OMM

Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a full‑time non‑tenure track faculty member for the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM).

Position Overview

Primary responsibilities include lecture and lab instruction in OMM for first‑ and second‑year curriculum, active involvement in patient care, supervising the third‑year OMM Teaching Service (medical students and residents) at the OSU Health Care Center Department of OMM, supervising medical students and residents at the OSU Medical Center hospital OMM inpatient service, and other assigned duties. Salary and faculty rank are commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm with occasional evenings and weekends.

Required Qualifications
  • D.O., field of study: OMM or related field (degree conferred on or before start date)
Certifications, Registrations, and Licenses
  • Board certified or board eligible in a primary specialty
  • Eligibility for licensure in the State of Oklahoma
  • Valid Driver’s License
Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge
  • Devoted interest in osteopathic medical education
  • Earning a D.O. degree
  • Proficiency in a variety of osteopathic manipulation techniques
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching and clinical experience
  • Board certification or eligibility by the NMM/OMM or AOBSPOMM
