Cash Application Specialist

Schedule: This is a REMOTE role with occasional on site so must live within a commutable distance.

Compensation - this is an hourly position which is eligible for overtime.

Our client is adding to their Cash Applications team in this temp to permanent opportunity. They are a large privately held distributor and this is a high-volume position reporting into the supervisor. They are seeking someone who can grow with the team with the ability and aptitude to guide teammates and keep workflows moving.

• Process high-volume daily lockbox payments including checks, ACHs, and wires
• Match payments and insure applied correctly
• Research and document cash application discrepancies
• Successfully handle multiple platforms concurrently while sustaining
• Utilize advanced Excel tools, including VLOOKUPs
• Serve as a resource to teammates
• Follow all WFH guidelines

• Experience specifically in cash applications, handling pay discrepancies and multiple cash sources and platforms.
• Comfortable working fully remote with a set schedule
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
