The Service Coordinator is the main point of contact for Shop/Field service and/or repair inquiries. They will interact with customers and teammates to create quotes, enter sales orders, place material orders and make sure orders are fulfilled on time. This is an onsite position for our office in Tulsa, OK.
CoreDuties & Responsibilities
- Interacts with team members, customers and vendors via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information for service and repair requests.
- Maintains a positive, customer centric, and professional attitude at all times.
- Create estimates based on information extracted by technicians, through the service/repair evaluation process.
- Enter sales orders and discreet purchase orders after receipt of validated customer purchase order.
- Field customer questions and complaints. When the issue is beyond the coordinator’s knowledge, elevate to the Service Manager or Branch Manager for resolution.
- Manages Sales Order dates to make sure the customer is informed, by re-acknowledgement of the sales order, of any expected delayed deliveries.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and concerns.
- Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
- 3 years of proven work experience in a relevant field in a similar role
- Service‑oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Actively seeks information to understand customer circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs.
- Acts independently and on own initiative to actively seek solutions that benefit the company and customer.
- Uses understanding of customer needs to initiate solutions.
- Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to effectively present information in a clear and organized manner, and respond professionally and appropriately to questions of managers, reps, and customers.
- Working overtime, after hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Regularly repeat the same movements when entering data.
