Zoellner Media Group (ZMG), a Tulsa-owned and operated local media company, is looking for a Digital Designer, to join our dynamic digital marketing team. As a locally rooted organization, we’re passionate about serving our community through impactful digital and radio advertising. ZMG is launching into a new digital era, and while we’re not the new kids on the block, we are setting the stage for Tulsa’s next big thing in digital marketing.

This individual will work closely with the digital team and director to bring client campaigns and in-house design needs to life. In terms of creative design, the individual in this role will be responsible for crafting high-quality design work across all channels—including social media, display, DOOH, print, web, and email—ensuring our clients are served with best-in-class visuals across the digital landscape.

This individual must have a strategic mindset, capable of understanding client challenges and developing visual solutions that are not only beautiful but also effective. The individual must be a collaborative team player, with a desire to contribute to a positive, energetic, and growing team culture. A genuine passion for Tulsa and helping local and regional businesses thrive is key.

Previous experience in a digital agency or digital-focused creative role is critical. The Creative Specialist must have expert-level knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop, and be confident in their ability to take a project from initial concept to final delivery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Leverage comprehensive knowledge of visual design and brand strategy to concept and execute campaigns that achieve advertiser goals and KPIs.
  • Design and produce a wide range of creative assets for digital and print, including social media graphics, display ads, email templates, web assets, and print collateral.
  • Serve as a brand steward for clients, ensuring visual consistency and maintaining brand identity standards across all marketing materials.
  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to keep creative output fresh, relevant, and innovative.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the overall creative energy and direction of the agency.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a graphic design or creative role, preferably within a digital agency or fast-paced marketing environment.
  • A stellar online portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills, a strong sense of typography and layout, and a diverse range of campaign work.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Proven experience designing for a variety of digital marketing channels, including social media, web, display advertising, and email.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams and understand client needs.
  • Excellent communication skills necessary for articulating creative ideas and collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly.
  • Based in the Tulsa area and able to work on-site with our team.
  • A digital portfolio of past work is required to be considered for the position.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Higher education, certifications, or agency training in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related focus.
  • Experience with motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of UI/UX and/or digital platform design principles is a plus.
