Assistant Superintendent

Join the Porter Brothers team! We are a family-owned commercial construction company with over 80 years of construction experience, doing business in multiple states. We are looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join our team in Tulsa, OK.

As an Assistant Superintendent, you will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager. You will oversee jobsite safety, quality, project scheduling, and communications with subcontractors and laborers in the field. You will also ensure compliance with plans and specifications.

· Assist in setting up jobsite logistics, field coordination, and project schedule

· Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communication

· Participate in review of project documents for constructability and content

· Coordinate subcontractors to ensure sufficient notice both for start times as well as delays to previously notified schedules

· Collaborate with the Superintendent to perform daily jobsite walks and submit daily safety audit reports

· Conduct and/or attend pre-task meetings and safety meetings

· Enforce safety standards and company policies

· Maintain project schedules and daily reports

· Use project management and scheduling software effectively

· Attend company and industry events, including meetings, training, workshops, etc.

· Other related duties as assigned or needed

· 3-5 years of commercial construction experience

· Strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and scheduling

· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and problem solve

· Strong computer skills in MS Excel, MS Outlook, Scheduling, and Construction software

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes

· OSHA certification preferred

Salary/Compensation: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
