Role Scope & Impact

LHH is partnering with Our Client, a Native-owned commercial construction firm, to identify a Drywall Project Manager / Estimator who can own projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is an office-based role requiring strong drywall trade knowledge, estimating capability, and disciplined project execution. This role sits at the center of operations—working closely with the Superintendent team, executive leadership, and accounting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed drywall and framing estimates (takeoffs, labor, materials, equipment)
  • Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents with a constructability mindset
  • Manage projects from award through closeout, ensuring cost, schedule, and quality control
  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents and subcontractors to maintain field alignment
  • Code and approve invoices; partner with accounting on cost tracking and job costing
  • Track budgets, change orders, and overall project profitability
  • Utilize Procore for project management and Bluebeam for document review and takeoffs
  • Conduct site visits as needed (local only; no overnight travel)
  • Support closeout documentation and final financial reconciliation
Required Experience
  • Proven experience in commercial drywall estimating and project management
  • Deep working knowledge of drywall systems and field execution (strong preference for candidates who started in the trade and progressed into leadership)
  • Demonstrated estimating results, including the ability to articulate bid win/loss ratios
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong coordination, communication, and financial discipline
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Procore and Bluebeam
  • Exposure to SAGE (not required)
  • Existing industry relationships or business development capability (commission structure may be considered)
Compensation & Incentives
  • Base Salary: $90-120k depending on experience
  • Performance Bonus: Typically ~10%
