Lead Superintendent; Commercial General Contractor

Amtec Staffing has partnered with a top-performing Commercial General Contractor in Tulsa, OK to find a talented Lead Superintendent to oversee ground-up construction projects ranging up to $25M+. Position Overview:

The Lead Superintendent will be responsible for the on-site coordination, execution, and delivery of complex ground-up commercial projects. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to managing subcontractors, schedules, and quality control to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all field operations, including subcontractor coordination, safety enforcement, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain the construction schedule.
• Lead regular site meetings with project teams, trades, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Coordinate and manage on-site inspections and address any compliance issues.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily logs, RFIs, change orders, and punch lists.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial tenant improvement and ground-up projects, ideally in the Tulsa market.
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
