Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
  • Conduct repairs on powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and other critical vehicle systems with precision and efficiency.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Execute vehicle maintenance procedures including oil changes, brake services, wheel alignments, and suspension work to ensure optimal performance.
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex issues related to ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), electrical systems, and vehicle electronics.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs performed using auto estimating software and ensure compliance with dealership standards.
Requirements
  • Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working on various vehicle makes and models.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, ADAS technologies, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and diagnosing issues with automotive diagnostics equipment.
  • Hands‑on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures such as alignment, wheel balancing, and suspension work.
  • Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus; experience with auto estimating software is preferred.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair machinery safely and effectively.
