Position OverviewAs an Automotive Technician at Grubbs Acura, you will:
- Diagnose and repair Acura and luxury vehicles using manufacturer procedures and advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure new vehicles meet dealership quality standards
- Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, and inspections
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and a safe, organized work environment
- Provide accurate service recommendations to customers
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with the latest automotive technology
- Up to $3,500 Sign-On Bonus or Relocation Assistance
- Paid training and career development programs
- Competitive pay: $20.00 – $55.00 per flat-rate hour, depending on experience

- Accurately diagnose vehicle issues using experience, tools, and Acura manufacturer procedures
- Perform routine maintenance, service repairs, and inspections
- Conduct pre-delivery vehicle inspections to ensure customer-ready quality
- Maintain clean and safe work spaces and adhere to shop standards
- Complete accurate service documentation and comply with all regulations
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers
- Support overall shop efficiency through inventory, organization, and teamwork
- Attend required training and service meetings Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (Associate/Bachelor’s preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of dealership or high-volume shop experience (luxury brand experience preferred)
- ASE certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Strong mechanical skills and diagnostic ability
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, and work in various conditions
