Role SummaryIf you are energized by purpose‑driven work and creative problem‑solving, this role is for you. You will support our ONE Gas Foundation administration, programs and employee volunteerism, then pivot to hands‑on communications and administrative support for the VP, such as building sharp Power Points, quick Canva assets, and supporting events that showcase our story. This Tulsa role offers visibility, variety and room to grow.
Your work will support our community commitment through the ONE Gas Foundation administrative needs and help us elevate how we communicate across the enterprise. You ll gain leadership visibility, sharpen high‑demand communications skills, and see your work make a tangible difference.
The ideal candidate excels at managing details, being resourceful, collaborating with others and is learning oriented.
What You Will DoProvide an advanced level of administrative support related to multiple departments and functions.
Compile, compose, prepare, verify and process information including but not limited to:
- Activities reports
- Special projects
- Governmental reports
- Employee/customer information
- Invoices
- Purchase orders
- Correspondence
- Contracts
Provide information and guidance to outside visitors, managers, customers, regulatory agency personnel, vendors, employees, and others concerning but not limited to:
- Meeting arrangements
- Proper application of confidential or sensitive information
- Company policies and procedures
- Employee/customer information
- Special projects
Plan, direct and coordinate company-sponsored civic, community, employee activities or programs.
Answer telephone, refer calls and record messages. Verify, approve and disseminate requests for information, invoices, and correspondence.
Maintain logs; verify and prepare information related to:
- Lost time and vacations
- Invoices and expenses
- Departmental and special projects
- Budgets
Order and maintain inventory of office supplies.
Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.
Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
What You Will NeedAssociate s Degree preferred
Experience providing administrative and secretarial support.
Demonstrated ability in use and function of office equipment applicable to position including computers, photocopiers, facsimiles, and applicable software.
Working knowledge of company s policies, procedures, and use of terminology applicable to position.
Working knowledge and training related to:
- Budgets
- Word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Maintain physical and electronic filing systems
- Handling confidential and sensitive information
- Planning conferences and meetings
- Generally accepted standards for grammar and punctuation
- Contracts
Working knowledge of various types of manuals, forms, publications and reports.
Experience interacting and communicating effectively with internal and external customers.
Experience composing and preparing correspondence and reports.
Read and write fluently in English.
Operate office tools and equipment required.
Communicate and exchange verbal and written information or instructions.
Visual ability to perform job responsibilities.
