Senior Accountant – Tulsa, Oklahoma

Senior Accountant needed for a growing organization in Tulsa // Oil & Gas Accounting. Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 per year.

General Ledger & Close

• Maintain general ledger and sub‑ledgers for assigned clients
• Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close
• Prepare GAAP‑compliant financial statements and P&L analysis

Analysis & Operations Support

• Investigate account activity and resolve variances
• Review operational and property‑related reports
• Support management reporting and financial analysis
• Maintain fixed asset and oil & gas property records

Client & Team Partnership

• Act as a primary accounting contact for clients
• Address financial questions and reporting needs
• Work cross‑functionally to resolve accounting matters

Audit, Tax & Process Support

• Assist with audit and tax documentation requests
• Use internal systems to complete accounting tasks accurately
• Follow established processes while identifying improvement opportunities

• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and GAAP
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational habits
• Effective communicator and problem solver
• Comfortable working independently and within a team
• Adaptable to new systems and technology

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Background in journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Experience with fixed assets and property accounting
• Oil & gas accounting exposure preferred
• Familiarity with industry‑related accounting software a plus
