Cost Accountant II​/Senior Accountant

Overview

System One is assisting a Tulsa manufacturing company with a direct hire opportunity for a Cost Accountant II/Senior Accountant. You will be working with others who excel in their areas of expertise. It is a great work environment!

• Maintain and update standard costs (materials, labor, overhead) within the ERP system
• Perform cost/variance analysis (actual vs. standard), identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare gross profit and cost reporting, highlighting trends and key performance indicators
• Support inventory control (transaction review/reconciliation, reserves, cycle counts, physical inventory)
• Provide costing support for new products/projects, including pricing impact and make vs. buy analysis
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and overhead rate planning
• Partner cross-functionally to drive process improvements and support audit/compliance needs

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
• 5–10+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory flow, margin/variance analysis, and cost allocation
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Net Suite or similar) and advanced Excel
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Strong communication skills—able to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders

Salary: $80K - $100K
