Accounting Manager - Manufacturing

Overview

Our client is a growing manufacturing company that provides high-quality parts to global organizations. They are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting functions and support financial operations across the business. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely closes, and support for tax, audit, and operational accounting needs.

Salary $100,000 - $125,000 per year

• Manage general accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with tax compliance and coordination with external tax advisors
• Support external audits and serve as a key point of contact for auditors
• Oversee and support accounts payable activities and processes
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and supporting schedules
• Respond to ad hoc accounting, reporting, and analysis requests from leadership
• Help improve and document accounting processes and internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and supply chain

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA And/or MBA Preferred, But Not Required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and close processes
• Experience supporting tax and audit activities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
