Senior Accountant

LHH is partnering with our client to find an experienced Senior Accountant to support their onsite accounting operations in Tulsa, OK. This individual will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with GAAP, and supporting both routine and strategic accounting functions. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced environment, has strong analytical skills, and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accruals and prepaid items

Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting packages

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls

Support internal and external audits, including documentation preparation and issue resolution

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to company accounting policies

Partner with internal business teams to provide financial insights and drive process improvements

Provide guidance or support to junior team members as needed

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement enhancements within accounting workflows

Lead or support project-based accounting initiatives, including process improvements and system enhancements

Serve as a subject matter expert for accounting processes and support issue resolution

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA preferred)
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or shared‑services environment
Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting controls, and regulatory requirements
Proficiency in SAP, BPC, and advanced Excel preferred
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with proven cross‑functional collaboration experience

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $ per year
