The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the primary technical advisor for Civil Engineer owned and operated control systems supporting facility and utility operations ensuring the integration of cybersecurity into and throughout the control system lifecycle.

• Selectee is expected to be granted with and/or maintain the appropriate security clearance required for the position.
• Employee must maintain current certifications
• Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays

• Selectee may be required to serve a probationary or trial period.
• Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
• Incumbent must be able to climb ladders and enter small or tightly packed equipment rooms.
• Information Assurance Certification is a condition of employment. This position includes Information Assurance work as a paramount duty requirement.
• Incumbent must attain IAM-II certification level within 6 months of assignment of these duties. A waiver of this 6-month requirement may be granted. Failure to receive the proper certification may result in removal from this position.
