General PurposeResponsible for a specific area of the Store and for general operations and supervision when acting as the Manager on Duty. Handles opening and closing, supervises Associates, ensures proper merchandise presentation, maintain a friendly shopping environment, and executes company operational processes.
Essential Functions- Maintain safe and secure environments: practice safety, maintain awareness on sales floor, secure building, handle security of entrance, cash office, register area; ensure clear egress; report unsafe conditions.
- Customer service: treat all customers, associates, leaders with respect; demonstrate courtesy and professionalism; recognize Associates.
- Personal and store brand: represent company, maintain professional appearance, ensure all associates adhere to dress code, keep store clean, maintain standards, daily trash removal.
- General merchandising: recover, size, markdowns; receive merchandise; process merchandise; keep stockroom clean; assist in placement on floor; ensure back‑stock is secured; maintain presentation guidelines, promote signage, re‑wraps.
- Loss Prevention: comply with Loss Prevention Awareness Program; maintain customer presence; manage package inspections; safeguard confidential info.
- Front‑end supervision and operations: maximize productivity, train associates on cash registers, shortage control, schedule breaks, ensure equipment works, manage front‑end supplies, handle go‑backs, teach scan‑and‑bag.
- Fitting rooms: maintain cleanliness, audit tags, handle go‑back compliance.
- Administrative duties: cash pulls, bank deposits, front‑end control, refund approval, payroll administration, scheduling compliance, other duties assigned by Store Manager.

- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale equipment and applications.
- Basic mathematical calculation skills.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Use all store equipment (PDTs, registers, PC).
- Spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, moving.
- Regularly bend at waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, stoop.
- Occasionally push, pull, lift more than 25 lbs.
- Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, etc.
