Licensed Beautician (Independent Contractor)
NHC Tullahoma is seeking a licensed beautician to provide salon services to our residents in a professional, supportive setting. This role is an independent contractor position ideal for someone passionate about serving others while working independently.
What We Provide- All salon supplies (permanent and disposable)
- Clean linens (laundered by NHC)
- Janitorial services for the salon
- Equipment: 3 hair dryers, 1 pump chair, 1 roll tray
- Monday–Friday, between 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Shop hours: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Private patrons may be scheduled after patient needs are met
- Prices set by NHC based on local rates
- Payment processed weekly upon submission of records
- Patients pay the receptionist after services
- Remuneration details discussed during interview
- Valid TN Cosmetology License (posted and on file)
- Professional liability insurance (self-provided)
- Self-employed status; not eligible for NHC employee benefits
- Must comply with all federal and state regulations
