We are seeking an experienced Restoration Estimator to join our team. The Estimator is responsible for producing accurate, insurance-compliant estimates using Xactimate to support timely project execution and claim resolution. This role works closely with Insurance Adjusters, Project Managers, and Technicians to ensure scopes of work are complete, well-documented, and aligned with field operations and Puro Clean standards.
Responsibilities- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates in Xactimate for water, fire, mold, and storm losses
- Conduct on-site inspections to assess damage, document conditions, and determine scope of work
- Create Xactimate sketches, line items, notes, and supporting documentation
- Review carrier estimates and identify scope gaps or discrepancies
- Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters to explain scope, pricing, and supplements
- Update estimates as project conditions change and submit supplements when necessary
- Maintain organized claim files including photos, moisture readings, and notes
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure estimate accuracy and execution alignment
- Strong working knowledge of Xactimate program
- Experience in restoration estimating or insurance-related roles
- Understanding of restoration processes (water, fire, mold, reconstruction)
- High attention to detail and organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines
- Valid driver's license
- Xactimate Certification (Level 1, 2, or
3) - IICRC Certifications
- Experience working with insurance carriers and TPAs
- Restoration or construction field experience
