Edge Construction Supply, a division of NEFCO Construction Supply, is a business‑to‑business supply distribution company that sells products primarily to commercial contractors, industrial businesses, municipalities, and government entities. With a rental department, repair center, customer training, and other customizable services, we serve a loyal clientele across five states from our headquarters in Spokane, Washington. We distribute over 30,000 products from more than 200 manufacturers, including power tools, hand tools, safety equipment, abrasives, fasteners, hangers, strut, ladders, and trade‑specific handling products.
Job SummaryReporting to the Logistics Supervisor, this position manages all distribution operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatching delivery trucks for construction supply materials.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general assistance, including pulling and staging orders.
- Perform bin location maintenance and uphold warehouse safety, organization, and cleanliness.
- Assist in cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Attend safety training meetings and adhere to rules and regulations.
- Conduct forklift inspections, complete reports, and operate forklifts safely.
- Communicate consistently with management and all branch personnel.
- Verify inventory against purchase orders for accuracy.
- Enter inventory into the NEFCO ERP software system.
- Stage and shelve inventory.
- Use RF technology to pick orders and verify items.
- Send picked orders to the packing department.
- Pack goods following NEFCO processes and procedures.
- Load trucks with packed orders in the specified sequence.
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
- Typically 40 hours with overtime available as needed.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to use NEFCO’s ERP software system.
- Knowledge of warehouse layouts for planning.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook.
- Positive, hard‑working attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in various climate conditions.
- Physical capability to stand on a concrete floor, crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist, and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (recertification required).
- Detail‑oriented with a hands‑on, ‘roll‑up‑the‑sleeves’ approach and adaptability to fast‑paced priorities.
- Non‑exempt position eligible for overtime.
$21.65 per hour. Non‑exempt; eligible for overtime.
