We are the Pacific Northwest’s Caterpillar Dealer in delivering prime and standby electric power, marine, oil and gas, and industrial/OEM installations.
About the Position:NC Power Systems are seeking a dedicated Diesel technician who is responsible for maintaining our Customer Value Agreement (CVAs).
Essential Duties:- Perform Annual Preventative Maintenance (change engine oil, filters, and perform a 60 point inspection)
- Semiannual & Quarterly 60 point inspections
- Load Banking
- Generator Confidence Testing
- Quote any deficiencies from services performed
- Order Parts using CAT parts ordering system (SIS)
- Effectively communicate with the office and with customers
- Complete paperwork, service reports and input of hours timely and accurately
- Experience with Diesel Technology which includes:
- Minor to moderate repairs from the preventative maintenance
- Diagnostic and performance abilities
- Equipment calibration
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- Degree in Diesel Technology is preferred
- CAT Diesel Engine experience is not required but is a bonus
