Experts of store process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in‑stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes across all GM areas. They conduct inventory accuracy, merchandise set‑up and maintenance and pricing processes, and support pick, pack, ship fulfillment work.

• Knowledge of guest service fundamentals with a first‑class culture across the store.
• Retail fundamentals: department sales trends, inventory replenishment, process efficiency.
• Ability to execute daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices; operate handheld scanners and technology as directed.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi‑step processes.
• Capacity to remain focused and composed in a fast‑paced environment, accomplishing multiple tasks within established time frames.
• Physical requirements:
  
  handle merchandise up to 44 lbs, climb ladders, work in varying temperatures and humidity, mobile for shift duration.

• Greet guests and provide a welcoming experience.
• Engage guests to resolve specific needs and thank them for shopping at Target.
• Execute tasks from receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backroom, arranging merchandise, and posting promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment (if certified) for moving merchandise or fixtures.
• Change prices, maintain merchandise set‑up, and enforce inventory accuracy as directed.
• Understand operational procedures influencing inventory management and profitability.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety compliance, and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as backup cashier and digital fulfillment (picking, packing, delivering orders). All duties as per business needs.
