MP&P Technical Analyst

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is looking for Associate and Experienced Non‑Destructive Test (NDT) Specialists to support the In‑Service NDT team based in Tukwila, WA on first shift. • Authors Non‑Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
• Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
• Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.
• Performs setup for non‑destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
• Composes procedure Figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe /transducer placement, and notch signal response.
• Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.

• 20+ years of experience in NDI (non‑destructive inspection) or NDT (non‑destructive test).
• 20+ years working in aerospace in‑service support with ultrasonics testing (UT) and/or eddy current (ET).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Experience writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures.

• 25+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
• 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear‑Wave Testing.
• 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
• Experience with CAD Software.

66 - 71 USD hourly
