Position: Parks Maintenance Worker - .75

Overview

This City of Tukwila is in search of a part-time Parks Maintenance Worker (.75). The Parks Maintenance Worker maintains public parks, landscapes, and facilities to ensure they are safe, clean, and operational; including landscaping, mowing, planting, maintaining irrigation systems, cleaning restrooms, repairing playground equipment, removing litter, and operating machinery.

About the Department

The City of Tukwila’s Parks and Recreation Department is home to 159 acres of parks, 12 miles of trails, Foster Golf Links, and the Tukwila Community Center. The department develops and maintains parks and facilities, and offers a wide range of recreational events, programs, and services for all ages.

We are currently accepting applications for a Parks Maintenance Worker in the Parks and Recreation Department. The Parks Maintenance Worker is a part time position and will perform routine tasks and is also responsible for doing park rounds ensuring the sites are neat and tidy.
