Position requires flexible availability, including weekends & some evenings.

The Production Supervisor oversees the day‑to‑day donation and production operations of the store to meet or exceed optimum levels of merchandise production. They effectively supervise production employees so that daily production goals are met and ensure a safe, clean, and organized working environment.

• Ensure donations are processed to maximize sales and minimize waste.
• Conduct quality checks on merchandise before it is placed on the sales floor.
• Ensure all donations are processed expediently from the donation door to the sales floor.
• Communicate needs with store management team to ensure production and sales goals will be met.
• Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
• Promote productivity by following up with employees on work results.
• Resolve workplace employee concerns by addressing issues that impact performance and productivity.
• Coordinate dock efforts by assigning staff within production and transportation areas.
• Ensure Production Associates are stocked with supplies.
• Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.
• Complete projects by planning, organizing and monitoring assignments.
• Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Uphold safe work practices in support of a safety culture through awareness and observation; assist in safety training of employees; report any potential hazards or accidents.
• Consistently and safely execute duties associated with forklift operation when certified to Evergreen Goodwill standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Goodwill’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; monitoring performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Partner with People Relations as needed and appropriate.

• High school graduate/GED equivalency preferred.
• Minimum 1 year production or warehouse experience, working knowledge of material‑handling practices.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with dock equipment, lifting and handling techniques.
• Basic math skills for reports, documentation, etc.
• Ability to work and lead in a team environment.
• Ability to carry out instructions.

• Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to learn new technology and software as related to the job.
