Peer Counselor (Parent Partner)
LocationsBurien, WA – serving South Seattle Latino/Latinx communities
Tukwila, WA – serving South King County communities.
The role will be based at the Tukwila site; relocation assistance is provided.
- Starting Pay Range: $25.18 – $27.07 per hour
- First Responder Pay: $75.00 per pay period (twice per month)
- Bi‑lingual fluency (Spanish & English) stipend: $100 – $200 per pay period (twice per month)
- Additional pay based on performance
- 12 paid holidays and 1 personal holiday per year
- 3 weeks vacation per year

Peer Counselors (Parent Partners) collaborate with families and the clinical team to provide support, facilitate services, and help families navigate the recovery journey. You will use your personal experience as a parent to empower families, assess safety in homes and community settings, and build confidence in their ability to team on a recovery journey. The position requires scheduling flexibility and will be based out of the Tukwila/Burien site.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Age 21 or older.
- Personal lived experience as a parent of a child who has received community/mental health services within the past ten years.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to visually assess safety within family homes and the community.
- Availability to flex some work hours.
- Preference for a flexible schedule rather than a traditional, fixed 8‑5, Monday‑through‑Friday, facility‑based position.
- Demonstrate culturally competent service delivery skills in multi‑cultural settings.
- Must pass required background clearances prior to an offer.
- Support and uphold the mission, beliefs and values of Catholic Community Services and Catholic Housing Services.
