Duty

Description:

• Lead a team of accounting professionals in operating and administering the accounting systems, practices, and controls of accounting processes.
• Monitor and review team’s work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of team’s work.
• Provide support, training, and mentorship to improve the team’s performance and lead the team to succeed.
• Participate in closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information and submission of deliverables. Complete account reconciliations and analytics as assigned by controller.
• Maintain thorough understanding of company’s financial reporting systems, general ledger systems, and associated business processes with focus in gross profits, inventory, fixed assets, payroll, and operation related accounts.
• Collaborate with teams from other departments to support meeting overall company’s and Accounting’s goals and objectives.
• Assist in development and implementation of new policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance workflow of the department to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in budgeting process and external reporting.
• Coordinate with and provide support to external auditors and consultants to ensure the financial results are accurately stated and properly reported.
• Other duties as assigned by CFO and controller.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of GAAP standards along with technical accounting expertise including accrual accounting, journal entries, account reconciliation and financial statement analysis and preparation.
• 7–10 years in corporate accounting.
• 4+ years in team leadership experience.
• Experience in COGNOS, Power BI, and Microsoft Dynamics is a major plus.
• Advanced experience in Excel.
• 100% on-site.
