Position Description
Company is looking for Associate and Experienced Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Specialists to support the In-Service NDT team based in Tukwila, WA on first shift. - Authors Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
- Incorporates revisions authored by method Responsible Level III in the standard procedure review process.
- Develops Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standard.
- Performs setup for non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
- Composes procedure figures providing information on inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe /transducer placement, and notch signal response.
- Reports potential adverse trends or anomalous results.
Required Skills:
- 1+ years of education or experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test).
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends if necessary.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
Preferred
Skills:
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
- 300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing
- 800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
- Experience with CAD Software.
- Experience writing UT & ET techniques and inspection procedures.
- AA degree in related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
